I am writing in hopes that people on all sides of the political spectrum read this. I am open for constructive and respectful debate. I seriously feel if we want change for the better, it starts with listening to each other, respectfully. First, I am going to tell you how I feel, then some FACTS, and then I welcome the opportunity to hear opposing sides. I want and am willing to listen. We must bring back respect and open dialogue to help things get better. Period.

If you know me, you know I am a Constitutional conservative. I believe that we should be bound by the principles set forth by our founders as written in the Constitution, with the main principle being individual liberty. I believe in free market capitalism because it has pulled more people out of poverty that any other system and has created the most successful country on the planet. I believe in border control, low taxes, small government, social stability, and patriotism. I also believe that many politicians are corrupt, on both sides, paid off by special interest groups, corporations, and others. I believe some are there for the right reason, but some are there because power and money corrupt. I believe the Democrat party has been hijacked by the LEFT, and that those two groups are vastly different. Unfortunately, the Left has gone so far left, they are dragging sensible Democrats with them. I believe this is happening because our children are not being taught what it means to be an American. The generations growing up today have been taught anti-American values in schools, run by the left. If you do not believe me, I will be happy to provide children’s shows and books that teach exactly that. It is mind blowing. I was fortunate to have a Grandfather, a fighter pilot in WW2 at Pearl Harbor, who taught me “American Exceptionalism” and love of country. Yes, we have done some bad things, no country is perfect. Yes, we have some bad people here, evil exists in the world. But there is a reason why millions of people risk their lives to come to America and flea their home countries. If it is so bad, why are people trying to move here by the millions? Because we are free, EVERYONE has the same opportunity to build the American dream. Because Americans fought and died to give all Americans those rights. My grandfather is a prime example of why I can write this post and why people can go protest in the street for George Floyd and others.

Now let me make it clear, I do not condone what happened to him. I think those cops should fully be held accountable and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. I could not even finish watching the video because I was crying. I do not care about his criminal past or current state of sobriety, he did not deserve what happened to him, and that is the bottom line. I can never say I know how it feels to be black in America, but I do understand the anger after watching a video like George Floyd’s. Do I think there are some bad cops out there? Of course I do. I think there are bad people in every profession: doctors, nurses, priests, etc. But do I think most of them are, absolutely not. Millions of police everyday risk their lives to keep us safe. We must single out the bad and appreciate the good. Rioting, killing innocent people, and destroying property will not fix this. The violence just ruins more lives and makes the problem worse. Instead of taking out our anger in destructive ways, why not focus on solutions. Maybe deeper background checks, family and friend interviews to see if there is history of racism, mental health checkups, harsher punishments for unnecessary excessive force, police unions holding their members more accountable, leadership changes, etc. I do not know the answer, but I know if we work together instead of going on some extreme ridiculous crusade, we can come up with ways to help…together. We are all Americans and this toxic divisiveness and destruction of our county must stop.

Ok, that is how I feel so what about some facts. I do believe black lives matter. I think all lives matter, but I am not going to ignore the movement or dismiss the feelings of my fellow Americans. My very good friend of almost 10 years has told me about situations where he felt mistreated, I believe him. I do not want anyone to feel that way or be treated different. It’s unfair, it’s not right, and most Americans agree. So, I did some research last night and googled where these types of incidents are happening the most, where are African Americans struggling the most, and what policies are in place that are contributing to the problems. In America today, there is NO LAW that gives one group of people more rights than another group because of color or race. We all have the right to work hard, be good people, raise good children and be successful. We have those rights as Americans. Of course, some peoples’ situations can make doing that more difficult, but many black and white people have pulled themselves out of poverty or dysfunctional homes and have turned into highly successful individuals. I do agree though, some have it much harder than others.

In my research I found the fifteen worst cities for African Americans to live. Places that have the lowest income levels, the worst unemployment levels, the worst crime, worst healthcare, highest incarnation, highest racial incidents, lowest home ownership, etc. Now what things or policies do these 15 have in common? I was not at all surprised, but y’all may be. According to USA Today, Forbes, and other sources, these were the worst:

Trump has done more for the black community than any other President. Lowest black unemployment in history – 1,017,000 jobs for African Americans created since his inauguration. Lowered taxes, cut job
killing regulations, prison reform – eliminating the sentencing disparities caused by the Clinton crime bill, a Democrat. He created the First Step Act aiming for early release for non-violent criminals, he signed a $360 million grant to help historically black colleges and universities, School Choice, “opportunity zones”, and more.

The main stream media is an arm of the Democrat party and they are both globalist liars. They continuously spew lies about him and pander to the black community. Look at the facts instead of what some reporter tells you, they have an agenda. Is he perfect? Of course not. Does he tweet or say things that make me cringe? All the time. But he loves this country. He loves all its citizens and that is what is important.

I could go on forever, but you get the point. That is why all these movements like #walkaway, Blexit, Blacks for Trump and more have all emerged. Abraham Lincoln and Donald Trump, both on the right, have tried to create an America where we are all equal and have equal opportunities. The civil rights bills were passed with overwhelmly high support of the Republicans, not Democrats, the Democrats filibustered the bill for days. And for the record, the big switch is another lie, only 2 southern Democrats switched to be Republicans, and it was more about the industries at the time and not civil rights. Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat, played the first movie in the White House on Feb 18, 1915. It was called “The Birth of a Nation” about the Ku Klux Klan and showed “radical Republicans” fighting for equality. It just takes a little research. The Democrats do not care about people, they never have, they care about votes. If they did, they would have fixed these problems a long time ago. They did not even take the time to do the research on what they were wearing in their ridiculous publicity stunt. Besides it being cultural misappropriation, those Kente cloths originated with the Ashanti people of Ghana. The Ashanti dominated the slave trade along the Gold Coast of African, selling their own people to Europeans and the Dutch. Geez, if they are going to pander at least check the history of what you are doing or saying. It’s disgusting.
The enemy is not all cops, it is not Donald Trump, it is not 99% of white people – it is the leadership in the communities and the Democrat party that oversees these communities. Keep voting the same way, keep getting the same results. The Left is destroying this country, dividing the American people, ruining history that we learn and grow from, lying to our children, causing anarchy, violence, and civil unrest. We as Americans, all Americans need to put a stop to this. You stand by me; I will stand by you. They work for us, remember! Let us take our country back, fix our issues and live together peacefully and prosperously. That is what America was built for – for all.
